Step-Up

Stepping up onto a bench without pushing off the trailing foot, building upright single-leg power.

How to perform it

  1. Stand facing a sturdy bench or step.
  2. Place one foot fully on the bench.
  3. Drive through that foot to stand up on the bench, avoiding a push from the trailing leg.
  4. Step back down with control and repeat.
